Chronology of cameras Gaumont
This is a stereo variation of the Bloc-Notes Gaumont, popular camera in the early years of the twentieth century , mainly because of its small size and its ability to fold and thus can be put in a pocket .. several years before the Vest Pocket Kodak .
It is often known for its use by some soldiers during World War I, but there were many notebook to be side by side with the U.S. camera. Cocorico .
The stereo version is much rarer than the " mono " version . Specifications are identical between mono and stereo models. Model variations are also multiple in both configurations .
The lenses are visible from inside the body. They are both provided with a diaphragm ( a blade with two holes ) operable from the interior only and separately behind each lens ( ! ) .
The cocking is carried out in combination with the opening of the lenses by the sliding of the front plate , which at the same time , sets up the viewfinder on the side .
